Dear Customers and Employees,Helping U Homecare cares very deeply about the safety, health, and overall well-being of its customers and employees. With this in mind and as a critical component of our strategy to address the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, we engaged Advantage Cleaning LLC, a commercial cleaning company, to deep clean, sanitize, and disinfect our premises before re-opening as permitted in the State of New York.
All procedures carried out by Advantage Cleaning LLC adhere to recommendations issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). These procedures involved:
- Removing soil and residue from high-touch surfaces throughout our premises, from door knobs to restroom fixtures. Completing this first step ensured that the sanitizing and disinfecting agents applied to these surfaces could effectively destroy or inactivate the microorganisms that cause COVID-19 and other diseases. Left untouched, dirt, dust, oil, and the like create a barrier that prevents sanitizing and disinfecting agents from properly doing their job.
- Applying disinfectant via electrostatic spraying. Particles of disinfectant emitted by electrostatics sprayers “wrap around” surfaces, even reaching areas that would be missed using other application methods. The disinfectant gains a powerful positive charge as it leaves the spray nozzle, making it more easily attracted and adhesive to every single surface. As is its routine procedure, Advantage Cleaning LLC utilized only hospital-grade disinfectants when deep cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting HELPING U HOMECARE premises. At that time and again adhering to its standard practices, Advantage Cleaning LLC also used only sanitizing and disinfecting agents that have been approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which maintains a list of chemicals it considers to be effective against “emerging pathogens” like SARS and Co-V-2, which as we know that form together to create COVID-19.
In choosing Advantage Cleaning LLC to handle our deep cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting needs in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we partnered with a highly qualified commercial cleaning company. Advantage Cleaning LLC employees undergo thorough, rigorous training in meeting pathogen-handling standards set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Advantage Cleaning LLC Founder and CEO Omar Miller has also completed the Online Fundamentals Training Course offered by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council, which focuses on applying preventative, response, infection control, and contamination control measures to known or infectious disease risk situations, including—but not limited to—SARS and Co-V-2.
Helping U Homecare will continue to take customer and employee safety. To that end, we will schedule regular routine disinfection services, as well as repeat deep cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfection.
